The antidote to isolation isn't technology; it's connection.

Sometimes the solution to a super-aging society isn't a colder sensor, but a warmer conversation.

Project Yunomi is the "Digital Engawa" (Veranda) for the 21st century—a dual-interface platform turning the burden of elderly care into a quest for global connection.

The Silent Crisis: The "8050" & Caregiver Burnout

There is a critical fracture in Japanese society. The "Sandwich Generation" (adults in their 40s/50s) is crushed by the dual burden of work and remote care for aging parents. This leads to Kaigo Tsukare (caregiver burnout). Meanwhile, seniors suffer from Enryo—a hesitation to reach out for help to avoid being a burden—leading to dangerous isolation.

The Failure of Current Solutions: Existing tech is polarized. On one end, you have cold monitoring sensors (cameras, motion detectors) that strip dignity. On the other, you have complex dating/chat apps that are unsafe and confusing for the elderly. There is no middle ground that offers both Safety and Warmth.

The Solution: Musubi (The Knot)

Yunomi offers a holistic "Virtual Care Platform" with two distinct interfaces designed to bridge this gap. We are not just a service provider; we are a digital family member.

The Perfect Timing To Exist

Despite the ¥30 Trillion Home Healthcare market, there are no affordable tools that combine Social Health with Clinical Safety for the mass market.
